Non – teaching Vacancies
1. Marketing
Manager
This is a key role that supports our future
development. Ideally, you will have
experience of various cultures. A knowledge
of different languages would be preferable as you will be liaising with people
from every corner of the globe. Good
communication and presentation skills are vital. Previous marketing /
advertising experience is essential, preferably from the educational sector. A university degree is desirable but not
essential for the right candidate.
2. Building
Supervisor
Previous
experience desirable. You will be required to undertake a range of duties,
including routine cleaning and maintenance, minor repairs, security and safety
checks. You will need to have basic practical skills, for example, plumbing and
carpentry and be able to work on your own initiative. A knowledge of Health and
Safety legislation, Risk Assessments and Fire Safety checks would be an
advantage. You will also be responsible for maintaining Safety Records,
Organising Fire Drills and performing Fire Marshal duties. Formal qualifications are not a requirement
but a practical, common sense approach is essential.
3. Attendance
Monitoring Assistant
This
is a vital administrative post which requires an analytical and systematic
approach. You will be required to input attendance data and generate regular
reports for individual and groups of students. You will also need to assist with the
administration of student course fees. This will involve updating Excel
spreadsheets and contacting students via phone, email etc on a day to day
basis.
The
ideal candidate will have previous experience from an educational setting, in a
similar field. Must be computer literate, be able to work accurately, have an
eye for detail and ideally be educated to A level standard.
4. Receptionist
A
confident, courteous and capable person is required for this position. You will
be required to meet and greet visitors, staff and students and present the
welcoming face of LCEM at all times. You will need excellent interpersonal
skills and be able to deal with queries and enquiries in a calm and
professional manner. Previous experience in a similar educational environment
would be preferable ( 2 years minimum ). You must be computer literate and be
able to communicate effectively at all times.

possess suitable qualifications, such as MBA (preferably Edexcel DMS or ABP
qualifications PGD) .
